Airport

At the airport, Atom™ supports both Air Traffic Control (ATC) and the many flight-related operational areas at the airport including passenger information. Since so much of the airport operations are focused on the air traffic movements, it makes sense to use the up-to-date flight information maintained by the air traffic controllers. With real-time flight data sharing, Atom™ breaks down the barriers between the ATC and the operations and passenger side of the airport.

Flight arrival and departure information entered in the Tower is sent to other Air Traffic Control facilities via standard ICAO AFTN messages….

…and the same information is made available for other uses at the airport including the Atom™ Flight Data Display Manager (FDDM) that provides full functionality for the passenger arrival/departure screens and advertising:
