Terminal Approach Control

By building on the Advanced Flight Data Management (FDM) functions supporting Air Traffic Control, Atom™ provides the following additional features to Terminal Approach Control personnel:

Coordination and handoff to towers and ACC.
Flight strip printing in Terminal format and colors for arrivals/departures/overflights.
Positions shown on strips as named fixes, fix/radial/distances or latitude/longitudes with automatic boundary crossing point determination.
Current METAR/SPECI displays for regional airports.
Flow planning and sector loading prediction.
Distance-based conflict prediction.
Easy entry of pop-up flight plans using aircraft and routing templates.

Interfaces to other systems:

ATC/ATM interfaces to Tower and Area Control Center.

Airspace Revenue to capture flight information for revenue and statistics.
