FAA MASS ESSA

The William J. Hughes Technical Center has established a broad based Engineering Support Services Area (ESSA) under the Multiple Award Support Services (MASS) contract vehicle. It is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinity Quantity (IDIQ) vehicle. The FAA's Terminal Business Service (ATB) has committed to the use of this vehicle to meet its mission requirements. However, this vehicle is available for use by other FAA organizations, Agencies and Departments.

MASS ESSA support areas include:

  • Applied Sciences, such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Meteorology, and Metallurgy

  • Research

  • Programming

  • System Integration

  • Configuration Management

  • System Maintenance

  • Deployment/Decommission

  • Human Factors

  • Training

  • Air Traffic Control Support

  • Airway Facilities/Aviation Systems Support

  • Program Management, Business, Financial Support

  • Planning, Control and Integration Support

  • Transition and Implementation Support

  • Routine Administrative Support
