SDDC WPS
The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) Worldwide Port System (WPS) Software Maintenance and Application Porting Support Project is performed on the currently fielded version of WPS, including the Windows based Carryaway version (WPS-W) in support the Ocean Cargo Systems Branch of the Automated Transportation Systems Division. WPS is a computerized system used to enter, document, and trace all import and export DOD-sponsored cargo processed through SDDC controlled and/or contracted ports.
DISC is a subcontractor to Northrop Grumman, Mission Systems on the WPS contract. HTC711-09-F-0019.
DISC support includes Electronic Commerce/Electronic Data Interchange (EC/EDI) support, Configuration Management, Process Improvement, Software Documentation Maintenance Support, and web-based APAN Software Maintenance Center support.

Technical Analysis
WPS support must include: Assisting in requirements definition, systems analysis, programming support, testing, trouble shooting, and configuration management of WPS software baselines for the CRDB, Terminal Level, WPS-W, and APAN configurations; and 24 hours/7days a week “on-call” technical and software engineering support. WPS support shall provide software maintenance for WPS users and system documentation support covering technical and functional changes to the software.
